Idea for a undertale animated series

1 - Fuck Glitchtale! Camila is a bad person and I really want to fix the shit she made. Should I? Nope! Can I? Maybe?? Honestly this is just gonna be my own thing using concepts from Glitchtale (specifically the characters.)

2 - If you got any ideas, suggest! I really, really want to make a good series for the fans, I can't do this on my own lads!

CHAPTER 0 - PRELOUGE

We can't get started just yet- We need a setting! Now, here's the thing: I want some eldritch stuff too. So, here we go!

Before the infamous Monster-Human war, there were many human kingdoms- But there were 8 huge nations which make up most of the world. As I said, I will be using concepts a few from Glitchtale, this includes nation names.

Justeceo is basically Britain. Much like my ancestors, Justeceo was an empire, the Justice Isles were the capital, they had cities/outposts on other continents.

Capital: Aend

Ruler: King Aerik the VI (53)

Heirs: Prince Aerik the VII (16 at the start of the Monster-Human war, he's gonna play a huge role.) Prince/Major Arnid (28) Princess Jadis (5)

Government: Monarchy

Noble families below:

Lightvale Family (Dukes and duchesses)

Agate Lightvale: Wizard of Bravery, duchess of Determino and twin of Copper. (29)

Copper Lightvale: Wizard of Determination, duke of Peservin, twin of Agate. (29)

Amber Lightvale: Youngest child, one of the few people that Aerik spends time around. (16)

Kraln Family (Noble family)

Quentin Kraln (Royal scientist/alchemist, and royal advisor. 32)

Elizabeth Kraln (Quentin's wife)

Arli Kraln (Addoptive son, and apprentice.)

Several military families.

Determino is india basically, it's a large chunk of the continent. It's ruled over as a district by Agate. Perservin is Scotland, sorta, and it's ruled over by Copper (but the land is disputed with Paitien, which is based off of France)

Patien: Now we get to France, it's literally fucking france OFF WITH CAMILA'S HEAD! (Not really but you get it mate.) It rules over Prida (Other huge-ass part of Determino's continent,) and that's it.

Kindao (Japan, ya fucking weeaboos.) It sticks to it's own area. Samurai and all!

Integid (Russia. Freeze to death ya bastards!)

So you know that post about me being scared about sharing my work if it isn't the popular opinion or anything generally commonly appealing? Yeah so as I was typing out the tags my brain threw a core memory at my face and went "you absolutely know why"

Anywau basically like, i was an undertale fan during the undertale renissance (is that how you spell it?) And i was fucking OBSESSED over glitchtale (until early season 2 + before camila was outed to be a shitbag) and thought glithtale was very very cool

Ankther thing is that i was a chronic deviantart scroller at the tjme (also on google images) and i love lovr loooooved looking at people's art

So i was like "hey i could do that too!" And started making fanart for glitchtale, specifically that final battle part where they're in The Orb™ in s1

I was doing it in school because at this point everyone was basically just hanging out (my elementary's system was 1st grade to 6th grade (i was... 5th grade iirc) And also had this weird systen where the younger half of elementary would go home 2 hours earlier than the older half (1pm), idk why) and like, because there was literally just 4 people here because small school, i showed my wip to the other 3 people present in the area

The thing that primarily stuck with me was how they teased about frisk's posing and the overall edginess of the piece, but mostly how frisk looked stypid (which, 1. Y'all play fnaf and brag that you're cool though kids you don't have room to talk; 2. It was The Orb™ fight,,, of course it was gonna be edgy,,,,)

It's somewhere in a landfill now, i threw it in the trash and never fished it out... probably decomposed by now, it's been 8 years (holy shit it's been 8 years)

I... think they apologized? Idk i just know they had a "wait shit no-" moment when i threw it in the trash but i was already mad about it so, yeag

Like... i like to say that it doesn't affect me that badly anymore but i'm pretty sure it still is? I literally can't look at my art anymore without thinking of how bad it looks compared to everyone else's and i also am physically unable to Not agree with others (i literally forced myself to hate homura akemi pmmm because a friend didn't see the nuance in her character and just relegated her to "bitch" lmao) and Good Lird i have crippling perfectionism because if 1 person hates it then everyone does right??? Lmao

Deadass nowadays i just can't bring myself to make or share any ideas or pick up anything creative because i HAVE to get it perfect in 1 go otherwise i'll be ridiculed for it; I'm Trying to outgrow these problems but it's jist So Dicking Hard akfjshdjdhr and it seriously doesn't help tjat there was a seperare (smaller) incident where i found one of my drawings crumpled on the floor by someone

Into, Across and Beyond!: Changes from the Universal Resets

WARNING!: Unmarked spoilers for Mario's Madness and Undertale Yellow below.

As discussed in prior posts, two whole universes ended up being reset via in-universe circumstances, akin to the Super Genesis Wave. There are several changes that happened between the two universes, but I'll go into detail about them here.

Dimension FNF-2020 (Pre-Reset)

Boyfriend and Girlfriend met through unknown circumstances and quickly fell in love.

Due to unfaltering bravery, BF breezed through many challenges life threw at him.

Boyfriend's only family member is Ritz the Rat, who he adopted, while Girlfriend only had her parents.

Pico stopped the school shooting, but many lives were lost.

Boyfriend often challenged those who weren't in the mood for it.

The Vs. Sonic.exe and Mario's Madness events happened separately.

During the Corruption, Boyfriend went plain and simple over the course of 2 days to get rid of it after breaking free.

Aside from Hex, Carol and Sunday, BF didn't fully bond with all the mod rivals he met along the way.

The breaking point came when SHM assimilated Girlfriend, driving BF into a mix of heartbreak and fury in his final moments, before he ended up dying.

Pico was the sole survivor of the Mario's Madness events, and unwittingly caused the reset when stumbling across an entity resembling Bowser.

Dimension FNF-NEW-2023 (Post-Reset)

Benjamin and Grace met at high school and became close friends. Love blossomed as they grew closer to one another.

Benjamin clearly isn't as brave as Boyfriend was, but he still did his best to tackle the challenges life threw at him.

Benjamin and Grace's families are bigger, including parents, siblings (including their younger "genderswap" counterparts, Kaity and Chris) and cousins.

Pico, due to retaining his memories post-reset, managed to stop the school shooting quicker by going straight for Cassandra, saving many more lives than he would've otherwise.

Benjamin is fully considerate about who he faced, and if they didn't want to do it, there's no hard feelings or force on the guy's part.

Mario's Madness and Vs. Sonic.exe happened together in the same cartridge, and this time, Benjamin came out alive, even giving M a second chance as his variant of Cappy.

The Corruption lasted at least two weeks, with Benjamin and the freed people giving it their all to get rid of it.

Benjamin gained many friends out of those he was able to get friendly singing competitions out of.

In this universe, Updike (like in VS Whitty Fire Fight) realised he wasn't capable of his job and shut down the Greater Good after encouragement from Whitty to have a second chance.

Benjamin, after More than One Universe, got Soft Boyfriend/Benjamin adopted into his family, and even got to make new friends out of the interdimensional BFs and GFs.

Dimension EV-2019 (Pre-Reset)

A demonic thing known as the Puhoi Curse was one of the driving forces of events, and doomed the young Audrey after he was unwillingly corrupted by it. It's also what forced Bently into a new life.

In the original Errorverse, Dr. Eggman, after enough time, redeemed himself and became Mr. Tinker.

Many More Heroes doesn't happen pre-reset.

Various failed timelines occurred, though many of their denizens were able to get safety through the Omega Timeline/OMEGA Universe.

Seak was outright insane to the end and did not get a happy ending, only earning the ire of his big brother, Teak.

Clover (from UT Yellow) remains deceased after the events of that game.

During one event, Amber Lightvale was still alive and well, and thanks to a still-alive Bete Noire messing with a deadly virus, she caused the two to split bodies. (Yes, both Underverse and Glitchtale occurred in the Errorverse.)

Through a lead-up in harsh circumstances, Brian, Calteron's guardian, was ultimately killed trying to stop Puhoi's tyranny.

A strange galaxy-like energy caused the big reset to happen.

Dimension EV-2019 (Post-Reset)

The Puhoi Curse never occurred, so Audrey is able to co-exist with other cast members without its threat holding over him.

Post-reset, Dr. Eggman and Mr. Tinker were split into separate people, the doctor even bringing in his own version of the SSSSS Squad to fight EV!Sonic with. No points for guessing where that got him.

Evo, Nitro's younger brother, and Sid Chang (who's friends with the brothers and their sisters alongside Lincoln, Clyde and Ronnie-Anne) both started up their own science group that Seak, who is much more stable and adorable, regularly attends as a way to make friends.

Post-reset, due to EV!Sonic's meeting with Tekno, Many More Heroes and the other IAB! stories after More than One Universe are able to properly occur, thanks to the Quill Society being formed from their bonds.

The failed timelines still happened, but thankfully, the OMEGA Universe was still open for them as per normal.

Post-reset, because Clover willingly gave their soul for the underground, they were unconscious until Frisk came back to return their soul after permanently shattering the barrier. As such, they now enjoy life on the surface with other monsters, including Martlet.

In the "rewrite" universe post-reset, while Bete Noire is reincarnated after Glitchtale, she isn't in control anymore, as Amber now has host of her body, complete with a more cute version of Akumu. In Amber's case, what you see on the outside is what you get.

Brian is alive and well post-reset, still taking his job as guardian with utmost pride.

Since they met the canon Sonic (or Sonic Prime/Prime Sonic, whichever you wanna call him), Exester and Nameless recall a time when Sonic.EXEs attacked the Prime dimension, though haven't really elaborated on it. Ask @mcgamejolter if you wish to know more.

For the two resets, those that fully recall all of the pre-reset events are Pico, Nitro, Amelia, Reemah and Enzo (close friends of Brian), EV!Sonic, EV!Tails, EV!Knuckles, EV!Amy, Teak, Daveline (Teak's GF) and Brian himself, all thanks to an orb holding those old memories. Said orb shattered after the memories were restored.

In addition, anyone in the Blur Gang, alongside those holding Time Stones, completely recall all of what occurred. As such, there's no confusion on their ends about what happened.

Oh I remember when I found first found underverse. I sound like an old lady but I've been in this fandom for a good 9 years now as I joined late 2015. It wasn't till a year later that I found underverse. I had just moved to a new city and school. I had made some new friends and I even was making a comic with my bestfriend at the time for undertale. One night I went to a different friend's place and we were chatting about undertale when she brought up underverse. Curious I searched it up and together we watched all the way to 0.3 part 2 (that was the latest episode). Ever since then I was hooked, of course there were other fan animations like glitchtale for example, which I tried getting into but just couldn't, to me they didn't hold the same feeling as underverse. I remember gasping and litterally almost crying when fell and swap sans died (I was a child cut my some slack lmao, I love these two).

I remember the arguments I heard about, where people were wondering if Cream was a cannon ship or not. I remember waiting each new episode and getting excited hearing one dropped. My friends and I would all watch it together and laugh, cry, and even hate on some characters. It fill my life with so much joy and I still enjoy drawing cross being afraid of cows.

This series has meant a lot to me growing up. Thank you again jakei for such amazing quality works, you've inspired me throughout the years and made me think that anything was possible.

Review of Glitchtale Love Part 2

First things first, @firstfandomfangirl and @utdork358, if you have not yet seen this thing. Go watch it. Now. 

Alright, now that that’s out of the way, I’ll dive in. Spoilers below the cut.

Let me start off by saying that, no, I do not deny that this series has its faults. The logic and technicalities are flawed in many areas, and the animation is sub-par. That, and the fact that the creator willingly throws herself into drama and ends up creating more stress for herself, is why I don’t follow her blog. That being said, I do enjoy the story itself. I am entertained by the twists and turns, as long as they don’t defy logic. But Camila has been doing a little bit better with that lately. 

But enough of that. On to the review. In all honesty, this is my favorite episode yet by far, and it’s not just because of Sans’ return. That was a plus, but that’s not the only reason I liked it. 

One of my favorite things about this episode is that it really let Papyrus shine. Too often people portray him as stupid and over-confident, but that is actually not the case. While Sans is more on the logical, scientific side of intellect, Papyrus has a high level of emotional intelligence. And although idealistic, he’s not stupid in other areas. He knows when he faces you in the genocide route that he is probably going to die. Yet he does not fight, and doesn’t even protect himself. Because he thinks kindness, not violence, is the way to stop you. He risks his life for the slim chance to save yours, because he believes in you. Papyrus might just be the bravest fictional character I know of. 

So I was very pleased with how accurately Cami portrayed Papyrus’ character. By refusing to fight his brother, he reached deep inside the hate zombie and helped him remember who he was. Papyrus’ brotherly love and compassion destroyed the hate that was consuming Sans’ soul. 

The next thing about this episode that I liked was the vast improvement in animation quality. The characters’ movements were more natural. The close-ups on the faces were cleaner and more detailed than they have ever been. There was so much more effort in this than in any other episode. And this time, I didn’t watch many of the streams, so most of the episode had a better effect on me. There are still some problems with it, like the fact that you can easily tell that Cami still uses black and white shading and only lowers the opacity to various levels. This technique is okay to use when you’re doing a greyscale piece, but in works with color it is more visually pleasing to use colored shading. 

Another aspect of the episode I liked was its ability to stir emotions and switch  the mood of the scene very quickly. This is a quality you can find in most of the other episodes as well. It’s not a completely new thing in Glitchtale. But this episode, with the improved animation quality, was able to change the tone of the story and the emotion you are feeling in seconds, sometimes without dialogue. And with this episode, there were some times where I could tell she was going for a very specific feeling and nailed it using visuals alone. 

Examples:

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY CHEEEEEEESEDOODLES 

This was the moment when Frisk goes 1 to 1000 in seconds. Or 3 to 19, if you want to be literal here. Even if you take out Frisk’s dialogue box saying “I will kill you,” the effect is almost exactly the same. And with Glitchtale’s logic in mind, it makes sense. Even though Frisk reset the genocide path, they still killed everybody. It doesn’t matter that they never killed anyone in this timeline. LOVE is the measurement of someone’s capacity to hurt. Not how much they have hurt, although that is the most direct way of gaining it. As long as they can hurt that much, they technically still have that capacity. So Frisk, having taken advantage of the glitches many times before, did it again and accessed their genocide stats. 

wAIT WAT SANS IS BACK

Just for the record, I knew this was going to happen as soon as Betty announced she was “calling for help.” And I love how even though it’s just a half circle in a sea of black, you know exactly what’s going on. A glowing blue eye with a pink center, combined with the fact that Betty took out a nearly empty monster soul and infused it with her Hate and Fear (and that’s not mentioning Frisk’s expression), tells you that there is only one person that this could be. And the fact that the first BWAH in Blood and Bone played the exact moment the eye opened solidified the mixed tone of horrified realization, shock, and dread.

wAIT HOLD ON THIS ISN’T WHAT I ASKED FOR

I pretty much knew that if anyone comes out of Kumu they would be a hate zombie. This entire scene was playing out exactly how I predicted. 

But dang. This image was clearly going for a “nightmare” feeling, and it delivered. That’s what a nightmare often is, after all. The things you love are corrupted by the things you fear to make a terrifying combination. Cami went for creepy and succeeded.

SANS PLZ NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Seriously. Everything from his eyes to his smile is unnerving. Those aren’t Sans’ eyes. That’s not Sans’ grin. This is not Sans. This is Hate and Fear contained in an empty shell chosen by Betty because the person who lived in it was once a friend and thus had a better chance of breaking Frisk. 

Piper.exe has stopped working due to brotherly love. Restart the program?

I could not have asked for more here. This is just the ending to the episode I needed. If there were not several different problems that still need to be resolved, this could actually work as the ending for the season. In fact, Betty using Sans to fight might actually have worked better in the finale. But that just means that there’s got to be a reason Cami made Sans come back (kind of) so soon. Obviously he’s going to play a larger role in the season now, though it’s still not clear what that role will be, whether he’s creating another problem in the sidelines or will eventually be an active influence on the plot. 

Whatever the case, this is a beautiful ending to the “Sans is missing” sub-plot. His absence was tearing his family apart. Gaster became rash and angry out of grief. Papyrus found it much harder to stay strong for everybody. But now, Sans is back (mostly), and it looks like the family might be able to heal now. 

Next reason: soundtrack. WOW. I mean, I listened to Blood and Bone before, but I kept wondering how it was going to be used. There was almost no doubt in my mind that it was going to be a battle, and that it would be near the end of the episode, and I was right, but I didn’t know what battle. I thought it fit the trailer really well. But I don’t think there could have been a better usage of it than that of the return of Sans as a zombie of Hate and Fear. 

Well, I could make this longer, but it’s already REALLY long and I highly doubt anyone is going to read all of this. Oh well.

Hi rant post time because I'm loosing it over the episode currently

So. Cami released the Chara and Asriel vs Hate video today (Or recently and I didn't see it today) and I swear I must've watched the fakeout death 17 trillion times it is the coolest part of the animation. It is beautifully animated and I cannot think of a better way to end off that battle. Amazing. But can we talk about how that must have taken a massive amount of Determination, considering Frisk only did it during the God of Hyperdeath fight. And looking at Undyne, who managed to do it, but couldn't handle the amount of DT and disintegrated (melted? I'm not sure). Not only did Asriel pull it off, he was virtually unharmed by it afterwards. Maybe it's due to his unique Soul or whatever, but that's still gotta take so much Determination to do. It's crazy. And he looked so badass when he did it. Maybe I'm fangirling but I'm right.

Also this was like the fourth time he 'died' in the series. He just refuses to die

GLITCHTALE THEORY ON THE NEXT EPISODES (WARNING: VERY LONG POST. VERY!!!)

O MY GOD, @camilaart! YOU’RE A FREAKING GENIUS.

Eversince I watched the trailer for Game Over part 2, I just KNEW Sans would live. It’s like, my theory is saying that HE HAS TO LIVE.

So I’m still posting this on Tumblr even if SOMEONE says that I’m just hoping Sans would live coz I’m just a “fanboy” from the exotic part of the fandom.

Anyways, I think, one of the major glitches in the timeline (apart from Betty) is that GENOCIDE EVENTS are happening in a PACIFIST ROUTE.

Okay, let’s backtrack for a while. Way back when Frisk was still...well...there.

In the episode Love pt 2, Frisk wanted do leave in order to fight Betty, but Toriel wanted to stop him from leaving. So Frisk used his sword and cut Toriel’s left palm. And then he left.

In the Undertale GENOCIDE ROUTE (Or any neutral route where you decide to fight Toriel), the same thing happens. Toriel doesn’t want Frisk to leave so Frisk hurts her/kills her. Thankfully in Glitchtale, he didn’t kill Toriel.

Also in Love part 2, Papyrus didn’t want to fight Sans when Betty was controlling the latter with hate. At the end of the battle, when all the hate was removed from Sans, he hugged him.

In the Undertale GENOCIDE ROUTE, Papyrus doesn’t want to fight Frisk either, saying that he still believes in them. If you ever notice, in the GENOCIDE ROUTE, Papyrus will offer you a hug of acceptance (hidden by him saying that it’s you who’s offering a hug of acceptance).

Let’s go further back to Do or Die, where Betty literally cut Undyne in half. She didn’t die right away, and even said the words “You’re gonna have to try a little harder than THAT” before turning into Undyne the Undying.

Come on guys. Undyne the Undying only happens in the GENOCIDE ROUTE. She also said that before she changed, and a few extra words like “I know so,” which she also said in Do or Die.

Next up, Mettaton NEO. The one that made me come up with this theory.

As I said, eversince I watched that trailer of Game Over part 2, I KNEW Sans would live. It’s because of Mettaton showing up in his NEO form.

We all know Mettaton NEO, like Undyne the Undying, only happens in the GENOCIDE ROUTE.

And we also know...

That SANS is the next battle.

That’s how I knew Sans would live even if the episode isn’t out yet.

I commented a brief summary of this theory in the Game Over part 2 trailer, but as I said, SOMEONE said I’m just a Sans “fanboy” from the exotic part of the fandom.

(Side note: F*** you, whoever you are. You know who you are. You know what you did and I’m still angry at you. I TOLD YOU SANS WOULD LIVE. I FREAKING TOLD YOU.)

And now, for the last part of my theory...

I think the ending would be Sans vs Betty, like in the GENOCIDE ROUTE, where Sans fights the antagonist (also called Frisk). And Chara vs Asriel at the same time.

Let’s go even FURTHER back. Continue, the episode where Chara and Asriel battled. It’s the final piece of the puzzle for me.

As I said, one of the major glitches in the timeline is that GENOCIDE EVENTS are happening in a PACIFIST TIMELINE.

Genocide. Chara.

Pasifist. Asriel.

The two opposite endings clashing against each other.

One.

More.

Time.
